Overview

Galaxy J3 2017 Black

You don’t have to spend a fortune to get a Samsung phone, as the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 is a budget option, but one with a lot going for it.

For one thing, it has the power to see you through a day and beyond, with a 2,400mAh battery that can last for up to 15 hours of talk time or 61 hours of music.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 also has plenty of potential storage, with a microSD card slot letting you add up to 256GB to the 16GB that’s built in.

And it’s got a decent amount of power, thanks to a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM – more than you need to run Android Nougat smoothly.

The compact yet crisp 5.0-inch 720 x 1280 screen is competitive for the money too, coming in at 294 pixels per inch, and the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 has a strong camera as well.

There’s a 13MP lens on the back, which is better than many at this price and capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps, while around the front you get a 5MP selfie snapper aided by an LED flash of its own.

And it’s all wrapped up in an appealing package, with the Galaxy J3 2017 sporting a slim 8.2mm thick build and a smooth plastic back, while the camera sits flush rather than sticking out, showing an attention to detail often lacking from affordable handsets.
