Overview

Honor 7X Blue on Three

If you think bigger is better, then you’ll probably really like the Honor 7X. This is a phone with a 5.93-inch screen, making it a real phablet ideal for movie marathons, especially as it’s also sharp at 1080 x 2160 and has a super-widescreen 18:9 aspect ratio.

But the Honor 7X also keeps bezels to a minimum, giving it a high-end look – despite its mid-range price – and ensuring it’s never more of a handful than it needs to be.

A super-slim 7.6mm thick metal body helps add to its premium appeal and makes this a phone that will really turn heads, and it’s no slouch on the inside either, thanks to an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.36GHz and 4GB of RAM.

That’s a fairly high-end spec and means the Honor 7X can handle demanding 3D games and multitasking.

The Honor 7X also has a clever dual-lens camera, with a main 16MP lens and a secondary 2MP one, which is used for judging depth and allowing you to create eye-catching bokeh effects in your photos.

There’s also an 8MP camera on the front, plus a big 3,340mAh battery which should easily last you at least a day between charges unless you’re a very heavy user.

There’s a fingerprint scanner too, for speedy security, all of which combines to make the Honor 7X a phone that looks like a flagship and almost performs like one, all for a lot less money than you might expect.
